The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $125,961.00 to $215,933.00. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

The Director, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement is a strategic leader responsible for establishing, developing, and leading the Company's procurement and sourcing function. This individual will be responsible for developing enterprise procurement strategies, optimizing third-party spend, negotiating commercial agreements, strengthening supplier performance, and driving operational efficiency across the organization.
 
The individual in this position is expected to serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on practitioner, leading complex sourcing initiatives, analyzing spending trends, negotiating key vendor agreements, and implementing technology-enabled procurement solutions. This individual will accomplish these duties while fostering strong relationships with business units, Legal, Accounts Payable, Information Security, Information Technology, Risk Management, and other stakeholders to ensure the Company realizes maximum value from third-party relationships while maintaining strong governance and regulatory compliance.
 
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with executive management and senior leadership to support the Company's expense management, operational efficiency, vendor governance, and strategic growth initiatives. Critical for this role is building from ground up the procurement capabilities through automation, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital workflow solutions to create a scalable and efficient procurement function.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related discipline
  • 10 years Progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, supply chain management, or related disciplines
  • 5 years Experience leading teams and managing enterprise procurement initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating complex supplier and technology contracts
  • Experience implementing procurement technologies, automation platforms, analytics solutions, or AI-enabled business tools
  • Experience developing supplier performance management and sourcing programs
  • Experience collaborating across Finance, Legal, Information Technology, Information Security, Risk, and Operations functions
  • Experience within banking, financial services, or another regulated industry
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or other similar procurement certification
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M) or other similar procurement certification
  • Strong understanding of procurement, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including spend analysis, business case development, and cost optimization
  • Ability to leverage technology, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation to improve business processes
  • Understanding of vendor governance, procurement controls, and banking regulatory expectations
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams



Preferences:

  • Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) Advanced business or finance-related degree
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI or other similar project management certification
