Responsibilities

The Capital Markets & Syndications Analyst will join a newly established department responsible for expanding the Bank's syndicated lending and capital markets capabilities. Working directly with the SVP, Director of Capital Markets & Syndications, this individual will help build infrastructure, execute transactions, develop financial institution relationships, support the Bank's growing derivatives platform, and contribute to strategic initiatives that support the Bank's long-term growth objectives. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping the Bank scale its capabilities as it continues its growth trajectory.

Major duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the syndication, closing, and ongoing administration of C&I and CRE loan transactions.
  • Prepare transaction materials including Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), lender presentations,
executive summaries, and other marketing materials.
  • Coordinate due diligence, lender outreach, participant feedback, documentation, and closing activities for syndicated
    transactions.
  • Provide underwriting support and industry research.
  • Collaborate closely with relationship managers, portfolio managers, legal counsel, borrowers, and participant banks.
  • Maintain a database of bank partners and monitor syndicated loan market activity, pricing trends, and competitive
    intelligence.
  • Serve as administrator for virtual data rooms, ensuring transaction materials, compliance reporting, and participant
communications are comprehensive, timely, and accurate.
  • Support the continued growth of the Bank's commercial derivatives platform, including pipeline tracking, reporting,
    and client-facing materials.
